Similarly, in management, it is not appropriate to abuse praise. If the members do a little better, they will praise them. Over time, the stimulating effect of praise will be greatly weakened, and even counterproductive, so that the members feel that you have no knowledge and thus look down on you. Just like the example given above.

Of course, cherishing praise does not mean that you should not praise as much as possible, but you should never waste praise when you should not praise it; you should also praise it without any praise.

The second is to praise just right. If you want to make praise really work, you have to pay attention to it just right when you praise it.

People love to listen to good words, but if praise is not just right, it is difficult to improve relationships, promote communication, and encourage others. If it is serious, it may cause resentment to praise.

To achieve just the right compliments, when praise, try to use news-like praise, with little or no commentary. The praise of the news style is to affirm the object of praise through the true and concrete reproduction of the facts. Commentary praise is the evaluation of the praise object by the abstract language and the subjective opinion of the reviewer.

For example, when praising others for their ability: In XXX, what kind of difficulties have you overcome through your efforts, and what kind of achievements you have achieved in the end, really great, and so on. Instead of saying it directly: When I see you, I feel that you are a capable person, a very powerful person, I admire you, etc., to praise. The former is more likely to be more acceptable to the praise object than the latter, and it is also easier to introduce topics that are of interest to the other party by praise, thereby promoting communication.

Praise this double-edged sword, which is very useful for people engaged in life insurance work, whether it is management or sales. Therefore, you should be familiar with and master it.
