Companhia Providencia will be the United States to build non-woven spunbond factory

Companhia Providencia, the Brazilian spunbond nonwoven manufacturer, will be building a spunbond nonwoven plant in the United States. The project plans to invest 120 million U.S. dollars and build 2 new production lines. After the project is completed, its annual production capacity will reach 40,000 tons. All production lines using ReicofilGmbh company's equipment, the first production line scheduled in July 2009, the second production line is scheduled to formally put into production in the first half of 2010. The company's factory in North America is designed to increase contact with users in the region and reduce logistics costs. Companhia Providencia has nine spunbond nonwovens production lines in Brazil, accounting for half of its sales both domestically and abroad, and is currently investigating a plan to build a plant in North America, a major export market.
