Fujian Completion of Laboratory Testing of Textile and Garment Enterprises

Recently, the 2012 textile and apparel companies' laboratory testing and comparison work organized by the Fujian Fiber Inspection Bureau was completed. The “voluntary participation, self-selected projects” approach adopted this time included the GB 18401-2010 “National Basic Safety Technical Specifications for Textile Products” in terms of rubbing fastness, water fastness, perspiration fastness, pH, and There are seven items such as color fastness to soaping, color fastness to light, anti-pilling and pilling, and tear strength. More than 20 enterprises with testing conditions in Fujian Province and some other laboratories outside the province participated in the comparison.

Based on the results of the comparison, the Fujian Fiber Inspection Bureau will focus on the analysis of the data of companies that are in doubt, help the company to find out the problems and study the improvement measures. At the same time, on the basis of this, the Bureau will also study and establish a mechanism for regular comparisons between laboratories of various companies, help companies improve the quality management system of the laboratory, improve the detection and analysis capabilities, and jointly promote the quality of textile and apparel products.
